Privacy Policy
Last updated
This policy explains what information Showfloor collects through this public website and how it is used. The Showfloor application has its own privacy terms, presented when you create an account.
Who operates this site
This website is operated by Showfloor TCG, 2911 Chamberlain Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508.
Information we collect
You can browse this website without giving us any personal information. We do not operate a contact form, a newsletter signup or an account system on this site.
We collect two categories of information automatically:
- Usage data, such as the pages you view, the links you click, the approximate region your request came from, and the referring site or campaign that brought you here.
- Device data, such as browser type, operating system, screen size and language, used to keep the site working correctly across devices.
Text messages and phone numbers
This website does not collect phone numbers and does not send text messages. If you create an account in the Showfloor TCG application, it may collect a mobile phone number to send you text messages you opt into, such as application status or booth updates. The Showfloor TCG application's own Privacy Policy states that it does not sell, rent, trade, or share your mobile phone number or messaging consent/opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
See the Showfloor TCG application's Privacy Policy for the full details of its text message program.
How we use it
We use this information to understand which content is useful, to fix problems, and to measure whether the site is helping collectors, vendors and hosts find what they came for. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Analytics and cookies
We use PostHog for product analytics. It sets a cookie and stores an identifier in your browser so repeat visits can be counted as one visitor rather than several. On this website that identifier is anonymous: we do not attach a name, email address or account to it. If you later sign in to the application, identification happens there under the application's terms.
You can clear these cookies at any time through your browser settings, and you can block them entirely without losing access to anything on this site.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honour browser-level opt-out signals where they are sent. If your browser transmits a Global Privacy Control signal, or a Do Not Track signal, analytics capture is treated as declined and no analytics request is made.
Service providers
This website is hosted by Vercel, which processes the network requests it serves, including the IP address a request comes from. The approximate region described above is derived from that address. PostHog, named above, is the only other provider that receives data from this site.
Data retention
Analytics records are retained only as long as they are useful for the purposes described above, after which they are deleted or aggregated so they no longer relate to an individual browser.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of information relating to you, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at privacy@showfloortcg.com.
Children
This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it when you return.
